Job summary

KOS International Talent Group is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager in Metro Manila to lead overseas end-to-end logistics for wind power and heavy industry projects. You will design routes, coordinate with global teams, and ensure on-time delivery across sea, land, and multimodal transport.

The role requires 10+ years in Philippine project logistics, strong regulatory knowledge, fluent English, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience: 10 years of residency/project management experience in the Philippines.
• Wind power/heavy industry logistics fulfillment experience with TSI in the Philippines.
• Solid background in wind power or new energy project logistics.
• Proficient in international logistics operations (sea/land/multimodal) and customs policies.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, SCM, or International Trade; Master's/PMP preferred.
• Fluent English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
• Willing to travel frequently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics Planning: Formulate detailed overseas end-to-end logistics plans (including sea freight, land transport, port handling, inland waterway transport) based on project contracts and construction schedules.
• Heavy Lift Transport: Conduct route surveys, scheme design, and manage special vehicles/vessels for oversized/heavy cargo.
• Customs Clearance: Prepare, review, and track import clearance documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL, COO, Insurance Policy, etc.).
• Compliance & Risk: Deep understanding of local customs policies, tax regulations, and product certification requirements. Resolve issues like inspections, detention, or document discrepancies.
• Site Coordination: Act as the logistics representative on-site to oversee unloading, warehousing, inland transfer, and delivery.
• Schedule Alignment: Coordinate with project teams and owners to align delivery schedules with construction progress to avoid congestion.
• Safety & Claims: Supervise on-site handling safety standards; handle cargo damage and organize claims.
• Budget Control: Manage overall logistics budget, optimize cost structures, and handle insurance matters.
• Tracking & Reporting: Establish logistics tracking systems, report real-time status, and provide performance analysis for future optimization.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 10 years of residency/project management experience in the Philippines. >5
• years of experience in wind power/heavy industry logistics fulfillment. Must have experience with TSI (Temporary Storage/Inspection for large equipment imports) in the Philippines.
• Industry Knowledge: Solid background in wind power or new energy project logistics. Familiar with the structural characteristics, packaging, and process requirements of wind equipment.
• Capabilities: Proficient in international logistics operations (sea/land/multimodal transport), customs policies, and local resource coordination.
• Problem-Solving: Expert in handling complex challenges such as transport delays and equipment damage.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, SCM, or International Trade (Master's/PMP preferred).
• Language: Fluent English (required). Proficiency in Chinese, Spanish, French, or Arabic is a plus.
• Flexibility: Willing to travel frequently.
