Private Advertiser is seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team. This full-time role focuses on coordinating shipments, inventory management, and vendor communication to keep the supply chain moving smoothly.

You will work with production, distribution, and sales to optimize operations, track shipments, prepare shipping documents, and support cost-reduction initiatives while ensuring accuracy in records.

Qualifications

• Experience in a logistics coordination or similar supply chain role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in logistics management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Sound knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Problem-solving ability and adaptability.
• A valid driver's licence is desirable.
• Basic understanding of customs and import/export regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers and manufacturing facilities.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock movements across all locations.
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Arrange transportation of goods and negotiate rates with logistics service providers.
• Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues or discrepancies that arise.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs documents where applicable.
• Maintain and update logistics databases and systems to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Assist in planning warehouse operations and optimise storage space utilisation.
• Support cost reduction initiatives by identifying logistics efficiencies and alternative solutions.
• Liaise between production, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure coordination and alignment.
