Job Summary:
The Branch Manager will oversee and manage daily operations at the Cebu branch, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and high levels of customer satisfaction. This role will involve leading a team, implementing strategic goals, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transport and logistics with a proven ability to manage resources, streamline processes, and foster a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily branch operations, including dispatch, warehouse management, and logistics planning to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of supervisors, drivers, and warehouse staff to achieve branch targets. Conduct regular training to enhance skills and improve performance.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Financial Oversight: Manage branch budgets, track expenses, and optimize costs to achieve financial objectives. Prepare and present monthly financial and operational reports.
- Sales and Business Development: Work closely with the sales team to identify growth opportunities, drive new business, and retain existing customers within the region.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure branch operations comply with all local and national transportation regulations, as well as company policies. Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting routine inspections.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as delivery times, service quality, and cost efficiency. Implement improvements based on data analysis.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels for supplies and parts necessary for branch operations, coordinating with procurement as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the transport and logistics industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Proficient in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the logistics industry.
