Job summary

Private Advertiser in Metro Manila is seeking a Billing Specialist to prepare and process invoices for freight forwarding, trucking, warehousing and other logistics services.

You will review documents such as BL, DR, Arrival Notice, Job Order, and Statement of Charges for billing accuracy; encode transactions; coordinate with Operations, Documentation, Accounting and Customer Service; ensure deadlines and records are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process billing invoices for freight forwarding, trucking, warehousing, and other logistics services.
• Review shipment documents such as Bill of Lading (BL), Delivery Receipt (DR), Arrival Notice, Job Order, and Statement of Charges to ensure billing accuracy.
• Verify freight charges, handling fees, customs-related charges, trucking fees, storage charges, and other applicable costs.
• Encode and maintain billing transactions in the company's billing system or spreadsheets.
• Coordinate with the Operations, Documentation, Accounting, and Customer Service teams regarding billing concerns and missing documents.
• Monitor completed shipments and ensure all billable charges are properly captured and invoiced.
• Prepare billing summaries, statements of account, and supporting documents for clients.
• Check invoices against approved rates, quotations, contracts, and agreed customer terms.
• Assist in resolving billing discrepancies, incorrect charges, and client inquiries.
• Monitor outstanding billing documents and follow up with concerned departments for completion.
• Maintain organized and updated records of invoices, receipts, and other billing-related documents.
• Ensure billing transactions are processed accurately and within the required deadlines.
