Coherent Philippines Pte Ltd is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to oversee daily logistics, import/export, and warehouse activities in Calamba, Laguna. You will ensure timely material movement and coordinate with 3PLs and customs brokers.

The role requires 1–2 years’ logistics experience, proficiency in Excel, and a strong emphasis on compliance and efficiency within a manufacturing environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain or related field; 1–2 years logistics exp.
• Experience with international shipping and customs compliance is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

1. Logistics Operations Management

• Oversee daily logistics operations (import/export, local deliveries, warehouse coordination)
• Ensure timely movement of materials, components, and finished goods
• Monitor shipment status, resolve delays, and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Coordinate with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers

2. Import / Export & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Philippine customs regulations, PEZA requirements (if applicable), and international trade laws
• Review shipping documents (commercial invoice, packing list, B/L, AWB, permits)
• Manage import/export permits and licenses
• Handle customs clearance issues

3. Cost & Performance Optimization

• Monitor logistics costs (freight, duties, storage, brokerage fees)
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

4. Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Planning, Production, and Customer Service teams
• Align logistics activities with production schedules and customer requirements
• Liaise with global counterparts for international shipments

5. Systems & Reporting

• Utilize ERP systems (Oracle & etc.) for shipment transaction and inventory movement
• Prepare reports on shipment performance, delays, and cost analysis
• Maintain accurate logistics records and documentation

6. Continuous Improvement

• Support logistics process improvement initiatives
• Automate daily monitoring
• Participate in audits (ISO, internal, external compliance audits)

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in:

• Logistics / Supply Chain Management
• Industrial Engineering
• Business Administration or related field
• 1–2 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export operations
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & etc.)
• Experience in manufacturing / semiconductor / electronics environment is highly preferred
• Strong background in international shipping and customs compliance (Philippines)Knowledge of:
• Import/export regulations (Philippine Customs, PEZA, BOC)
• Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.)
• Freight management (air/sea/land)
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting)

Working Conditions

• Willing to work on-site in Calamba, Laguna
• Flexible with extended working hours (as required for shipment schedules)
• Experience dealing with multinational teams or global logistics is an advantage
