Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a Logistics/ Supply Chain professional to manage daily logistics operations in Calamba, Laguna.

You will oversee import/export activities, warehouse coordination, and 3PL interactions, ensuring timely movement of materials and compliance with Philippine regulations. The role requires 1–2 years in logistics or related fields, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle ERP, and experience with international shipping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration or related field.
• 1–2 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related MS Office tools.
• Experience in manufacturing / semiconductor / electronics environment is highly preferred.
• Strong background in international shipping and customs compliance (Philippines).
• Import/export regulations (Philippine Customs, PEZA, BOC).
• Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.).
• Freight management (air/sea/land).
• ERP systems experience (Oracle preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics operations (import/export, local deliveries, warehouse coordination).
• Ensure timely movement of materials, components, and finished goods.
• Monitor shipment status, resolve delays, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Review shipping documents (invoice, packing list, B/L, AWB, permits).
• Manage import/export permits and licenses; handle customs clearance issues.
• Monitor logistics costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Production, and Customer Service teams.
• Utilize ERP systems for shipment transactions and inventory movement.
• Prepare reports on shipment performance, delays, and cost analysis.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and documentation.
• Support logistics process improvement initiatives; participate in audits.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Logistics Operations Management
• Oversee daily logistics operations (import/export, local deliveries, warehouse coordination)
• Ensure timely movement of materials, components, and finished goods
• Monitor shipment status, resolve delays, and communicate updates to stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with Philippine customs regulations, PEZA requirements (if applicable), and international trade laws
• Review shipping documents (commercial invoice, packing list, B/L, AWB, permits)
• Manage import/export permits and licenses
• Handle customs clearance issues
• Cost & Performance Optimization
• Monitor logistics costs (freight, duties, storage, brokerage fees)
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
• Stakeholder Coordination
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Planning, Production, and Customer Service teams
• Align logistics activities with production schedules and customer requirements
• Liaise with global counterparts for international shipments
• Systems & Reporting
• Utilize ERP systems (Oracle & etc.) for shipment transaction and inventory movement

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in:

• Logistics / Supply Chain Management
• Industrial Engineering
• Business Administration or related field
• 1–2 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export operations
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & etc.)
