Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a packaging operator to operate packaging machines and equipment onsite in the Philippines.

The role involves preparing and packing parts according to correct packaging methods and inspecting for defects, ensuring proper labeling and GMP compliance. Ideal candidates will have an associate degree or 2+ years of college, and prior experience in manufacturing, production, or packaging is advantageous.

Job description

• Inspect products and packaging for defects, damage, incorrect labels, or other quality issues.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of packaging equipment.
• Follow company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work effectively with production, quality control, warehouse, and maintenance teams.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures.

Education & Experience

• Associate degree or at least 2 years in college
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or packaging is an advantage.

• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
• Willingness to work shifting schedules, overtime, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Basic ability to read production instructions and complete workplace records.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team.
