We are looking for a reliable and motivated Logistics Assistant / Driver to support our logistics and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for transportation activities, inventory management, warehouse support, and coordination of supply chain processes to ensure the efficient movement of goods and materials.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for the delivery and collection of products, materials, documents, and other company assets.
- Assist in the coordination of supply chain activities, including warehousing, transportation, and order fulfillment.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock monitoring, receiving, issuance, and inventory counts.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain delivery receipts, inventory records, and other logistics-related documentation.
- Assist in loading, unloading, packing, and organizing goods within the warehouse.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient distribution.
- Monitor the condition of transported goods and ensure proper handling at all times.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure assigned vehicles are properly maintained and roadworthy.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding deliveries and logistics requirements.
- Support warehouse housekeeping and ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Perform other logistics, warehouse, and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of any Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, or relevant vocational course.
- At least one (1) year of experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory management, delivery operations, or a related field is an advantage.
- Possesses a valid Professional Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures and warehouse operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of local routes and transportation regulations.
- Proficient in basic documentation and record-keeping.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Willing to travel and render overtime when operational requirements demand.
