Job summary

ILT Food Products is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily inbound and outbound logistics operations, supervise warehouse, dispatch, delivery and logistics activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

You will plan and coordinate delivery schedules, monitor inventory movement and documentation, ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance, and coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and delivery teams to maintain high service standards and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily inbound and outbound logistics operations.
• Supervise warehouse, dispatch, delivery, and logistics activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Manage and coordinate drivers, warehouse personnel, dispatch staff, and other logistics personnel.
• Plan and coordinate delivery schedules, routes, dispatching, and fleet operations.
• Monitor receiving, storage, inventory movement, and dispatch processes.
• Ensure proper implementation of FIFO/FEFO and appropriate warehouse handling procedures.
• Monitor and ensure completeness and accuracy of delivery, receiving, and other logistics documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, customers, and delivery teams regarding logistics concerns.
• Monitor fleet utilization, vehicle availability, and delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety, operational, and company policies.
• Monitor logistics performance, identify operational issues, and implement appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and monitor logistics-related reports, records, and documentation.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, vehicles, warehouse space, and other logistics resources.
• Lead, train, and evaluate logistics personnel to maintain productivity and service standards.
• Handle operational concerns and make timely decisions to ensure uninterrupted logistics operations.
• Perform other logistics-related duties as may be assigned by management.
