Outsourcey is seeking a skilled Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team in the Philippines. You will review, verify, and process loan applications for FHA, VA, jumbo, and conventional loans, coordinating with borrowers, agents, and underwriters to ensure accurate documentation and timely closings.

Responsibilities include verifying income/credit documents, maintaining records in Encompass or Calyx, and staying current on industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage loan processing experience in residential lending.

Required Experience and Skills

• Experience in Mortgage Loan Processing: 3+ years of experience processing residential loans, including FHA, VA, and conventional loans.
• Knowledge of Loan Guidelines: Familiarity with federal and state mortgage regulations and industry standards, including RESPA, TRID, and loan underwriting processes.
• Strong Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple loan files, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in reviewing documentation, verifying data, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
• Proficiency in Loan Software: Experience using mortgage loan processing software and platforms such as Encompass or Calyx.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with borrowers, underwriters, and third-party partners.

Core responsibilities

• Process Loan Applications: Review, verify, and process loan applications for a variety of mortgage products, including FHA, VA, jumbo, and conventional loans, ensuring all documentation meets industry standards.
• Coordinate with Clients and Third Parties: Act as the primary point of contact for borrowers, real estate agents, and underwriters, providing updates and gathering required information to facilitate loan approval.
• Verify Documentation: Examine income, credit, asset documentation, and other loan conditions for accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines and federal regulations.
• Ensure Timely Closings: Track loan progress, manage deadlines, and resolve any issues that arise to ensure loans close on time without delays.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Utilize the company’s loan processing software to update loan files, document communications, and track critical milestones in the loan lifecycle.
• Stay Current on Industry Standards: Regularly update knowledge of mortgage regulations, industry trends, and changes in loan program guidelines to maintain compliance.
