Job summary

MicroSourcing, a leading offshore managed services provider in the Philippines, seeks a Legal Assistant - Litigation to support busy corporate litigation matters. You will assist attorneys with case preparation, research, discovery, drafting, and trial support while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.

The role is hybrid with a night shift in Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City, requiring 1-2+ years of paralegal experience and strong legal research, drafting, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Strong understanding of the litigation process from intake through trial.
• Experience drafting interrogatories, document requests, and other discovery materials.
• Strong legal research, cite-checking, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Proficiency with Bluebook citation standards and Rule 9A requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal support through all stages of business and commercial litigation.
• Assist attorneys with case preparation, legal research, discovery, document review, and trial preparation.
• Draft and assist with interrogatories, requests for production, and other discovery materials.
• Conduct legal research and perform accurate cite-checking using Bluebook standards.
• Proofread pleadings, legal documents and filings for accuracy and consistency.
• Organize and maintain case files, discovery materials, and correspondence.
• Prepare documents related to Rule 9A and ensure compliance.
• Manage electronic discovery and document review using litigation support platforms.
• Assist attorneys in preparing clients for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Coordinate and track case deadlines, filings, and related activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information.
