Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Legal Assistant - Litigation to support our litigation team in Eastwood, Quezon City. This hybrid role involves night shifts and handling case intake, discovery, and trial preparation under attorney supervision.

You will perform legal research, draft interrogatories and document requests, conduct cite-checking with Bluebook standards, proofread pleadings, and organize case files. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably supporting business or commercial litigation matters.
• Strong understanding of the litigation process and ability to support cases from intake through trial.
• Experience drafting interrogatories, document requests, and other litigation discovery materials.
• Strong legal research, cite-checking, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Proficiency with Bluebook citation standards and a strong understanding of Rule 9A requirements.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 1–2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably supporting business or commercial litigation matters.
• Strong understanding of the litigation process and ability to support cases from intake through trial.
• Experience drafting interrogatories, document requests, and other litigation discovery materials.
• Strong legal research, cite-checking, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Proficiency with Bluebook citation standards and a strong understanding of Rule 9A requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience supporting business, commercial, or complex litigation matters.
• Experience with electronic discovery, document review, and litigation support platforms.
• Experience assisting with deposition, hearing, and trial preparation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and legal teams.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing competing priorities with minimal supervision.
