Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a licensed Philippine lawyer to join a hands-on legal team. You will work on active cases across criminal, civil, labor, and administrative matters, attending hearings and drafting pleadings, with opportunities for case ownership and direct client interaction.

You will conduct legal research, develop strategies, and coordinate with courts and agencies, while meeting tight deadlines and handling multiple matters.

Qualifications

• Licensed Philippine lawyer
• J.D./LL.B., or equivalent law degree
• Member in good standing of the IBP
• Litigation experience is an advantage, especially in criminal and civil matters
• Newly admitted lawyers and recent Bar passers are encouraged to apply
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, resourceful, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and handle pressure
• Willing to handle different types of litigation cases
• Willing to attend hearings and field assignments within and outside Metro Manila
• Can start immediately or at the earliest possible date

Responsibilities

• Handle and assist in criminal, civil, labor, administrative, and other litigation matters
• Attend hearings, trials, preliminary investigations, conferences, and other proceedings
• Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, counter-affidavits, legal opinions, memoranda, and demand letters
• Conduct legal research on laws, jurisprudence, regulations, and court procedures
• Review evidence, case records, and witness statements
• Help develop case strategy, legal arguments, defenses, and remedies
• Meet and advise clients and provide case updates
• Interview and prepare clients and witnesses
• Conduct PDl consultations, jail visits, investigations, and field assignments when necessary
• Coordinate with courts, prosecutors, government agencies, opposing counsel, and other parties
• Manage deadlines, filings, and multiple active matters
