About the Role
We are looking for a licensed Philippine lawyer who wants meaningful, hands-on litigation experience and greater exposure to active cases.
You will work across criminal, civil, labor, administrative, and other litigation matters, with direct involvement in client consultations, evidence review, case strategy, legal drafting, investigations, hearings, and court proceedings.
This role is ideal for a resourceful, proactive, and detail-oriented lawyer who wants to strengthen practical litigation skills, take greater ownership of cases, and work on varied and challenging legal matters.
Newly admitted lawyers and recent Bar passers with strong practical exposure are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and assist in criminal, civil, labor, administrative, and other litigation matters
- Attend hearings, trials, preliminary investigations, conferences, mediations, and other legal proceedings
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, complaints, counter-affidavits, affidavits, legal opinions, memoranda, demand letters, and other legal documents
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on laws, jurisprudence, regulations, government issuances, and court procedures
- Review and analyze evidence, case records, witness statements, and other relevant materials
- Develop case strategies, legal arguments, defenses, remedies, and recommended courses of action
- Interview, advise, and prepare clients and witnesses
- Conduct investigations, PDL consultations, jail visits, and other case-related fieldwork when required
- Coordinate with courts, prosecutors, government agencies, opposing counsel, clients, witnesses, and other relevant parties
- Manage multiple active cases, hearings, filings, deadlines, and other case requirements
About You
- Currently licensed to practice law in the Philippines and a member in good standing of the IBP
- Juris Doctor (J.D.), LL.B., or equivalent law degree
- Litigation experience is preferred, particularly in criminal or civil matters
- Newly admitted lawyers and recent Bar passers with strong practical experience are welcome
- Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality legal work
- Resourceful, proactive, organized, and dependable
- Able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable handling different types of litigation matters
- Able to work effectively under pressure and manage urgent assignments
- Professional and discreet, with a strong commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and accountability
- Willing to attend hearings, investigations, and other assignments within and outside Metro Manila
- Available to start immediately or at the earliest possible date
