Job summary

Arrow Electronics seeks a Linux Systems / Infrastructure Engineer for the EMEA region in Courbevoie, FR. You will administer RHEL, design and maintain Linux-based infra, and deploy OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms with automation using Ansible, Bash, and Python.

5+ years of hands-on Linux experience, OpenShift/Kubernetes proficiency, VMware vSphere and AD integration knowledge are required. The role supports a multinational IT environment and is based on-site in France.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on Linux experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
• Scripting experience in Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with VMware vSphere or Red Hat virtualization.
• Knowledge of Linux-AD integration.
• Backup and DR familiarity (Zerto, Rubrik).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of infrastructure security, monitoring, capacity planning.
• Good communication in a large multinational IT environment.
• Interest in automation, containerization and modern infra tech.

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Linux, ideally Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience in Linux administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Ansible and scripting in Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Red Hat virtualization.
• Knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Active Directory integration.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Zerto and Rubrik.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of infrastructure security, monitoring and capacity planning.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a large multinational IT environment.
• Interest in automation, containerization and modern enterprise infrastructure technologies.
