Job summary

Arrow Electronics seeks a Linux Systems / Infrastructure Engineer for the EMEA region in Courbevoie, FR. You will administer RHEL, design and maintain Linux-based infra, and deploy OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms with automation using Ansible, Bash, and Python.

5+ years of hands-on Linux experience, OpenShift/Kubernetes proficiency, VMware vSphere and AD integration knowledge are required. The role supports a multinational IT environment and is based on-site in France.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of hands-on Linux experience in enterprise environments.
Strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
Scripting experience in Bash and/or Python.
Experience with VMware vSphere or Red Hat virtualization.
Knowledge of Linux-AD integration.
Backup and DR familiarity (Zerto, Rubrik).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of infrastructure security, monitoring, capacity planning.
Good communication in a large multinational IT environment.
Interest in automation, containerization and modern infra tech.

Responsibilities

Administer, patch, troubleshoot and performance-tune RHEL environments at enterprise scale.
Design, implement and maintain Linux-based infrastructure solutions, from development through stabilization and documentation.
Deploy and operate Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes platforms, including cluster and workload management.
Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible, Bash and Python.
Administer VMware vSphere and Red Hat virtualization environments.
Manage Linux identity services and integration with Microsoft Active Directory.
Support backup, disaster recovery and data protection solutions, including Zerto and Rubrik.
Monitor infrastructure availability, performance and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Participate in incident resolution, including critical infrastructure incidents when required.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security and application teams within a large multinational IT environment.
