Job summary

Lancesoft Philippines is seeking an experienced Linux Engineer to join our team in Metro Manila. You will lead Linux administration, network security, and firewall management, with hands-on work on RHEL/Linux systems and enterprise firewall technologies.

You will collaborate with Network, Security, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams in a complex enterprise environment to implement robust security and network solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration, including installation, configuration, patching, hardening, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Extensive experience with nftables & iptables, including firewall rules, packet filtering, NAT, and network troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of L2 Networking, routing, switching, VLANs, bridging, and Linux network configurations.
• Hands-on implementation experience with enterprise Firewall Technologies.
• Experience with modern infrastructure and network security technologies such as NixOS, GUIX/Immutable OS, Cilium, Suricata, and Zeek is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Network Security, Packet Analysis, Incident Troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Network, Security, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams in complex enterprise environments.
