Job summary

The Moment Group in the Philippines is seeking a kitchen assistant to help stock and set up kitchen stations, and to prepare and plate food under supervision.

You will handle cleaning, cutting ingredients, and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks. Availability for rotating shifts is required; exposure to Filipino cuisine is a plus, with strict hygiene and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in hot kitchen/cold kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations.
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks.
• Plating prepared foods based on senior chef's guidance.
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts.
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
• Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations.
