Job summary

The Rigging Corporation seeks an experienced Lifting Supervisor for a wind farm project in Infanta, Quezon. You will supervise lifting and rigging at the site, ensure compliance with lifting plans and safety procedures, and coordinate with project managers, engineers, and safety teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in lifting/rigging on heavy projects, familiarity with JSA/risk assessments, and strong leadership. On-site work with potential extended hours is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant lifting/rigging experience on heavy projects.
• Experience in wind farm or large-scale construction is highly preferred.
• Ability to read lifting plans and related technical documents.
• Knowledge of JSA, risk assessment, toolbox talks and Permit-to-Work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and control all lifting and rigging activities at the project site.
• Ensure lifting operations are performed safely and according to approved lifting plans and procedures.
• Review lifting plans, method statements, JSA/RA, and related lifting documentation.
• Supervise riggers, signalmen, crane operators, and other lifting personnel.
• Conduct pre-lift meetings and toolbox talks before lifting activities.
• Inspect cranes, lifting accessories, slings, shackles, spreader beams, and other rigging equipment before use.
• Ensure all lifting equipment has valid inspection and certification.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, HSE/Safety team, crane operators, riggers, and contractors.
• Monitor crane setup, load capacity, lifting radius, ground conditions, and safe lifting practices.
• Immediately stop lifting activities if unsafe conditions or practices are observed.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, project requirements, and applicable Philippine safety regulations.
• Maintain daily lifting records, inspection checklists, and incident/near-miss reports.
• Assist in the safe handling and installation of wind turbine components and other heavy project materials.

The Rigging Corporation is looking for an experienced and safety-focused Lifting Supervisor to join our team for a wind mill project in Infanta, Quezon.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• With proven experience as a Lifting Supervisor, Rigging Supervisor, Rigging Foreman, or similar position.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in lifting, rigging, heavy equipment, construction, energy, or industrial projects.
• Experience in wind farm/wind turbine projects, heavy lifting, or large-scale construction projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of crane operations, rigging procedures, lifting accessories, load handling, and lifting safety.
• Ability to read and understand lifting plans and related technical documents.
• Knowledge of JSA, risk assessment, toolbox meetings, and Permit-to-Work systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and willing to work on a project site in Infanta, Quezon.
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays when required by project operations.

Preferred Certifications

• TESDA NC I – Rigging or relevant rigging certification.
• Crane-related certification/license is an advantage.
• BOSH/COSH or other recognized occupational safety training is an advantage.
• Relevant lifting/rigging competency certifications are highly preferred.
