Veracity Synergy Solutions, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer to design AC/DC EV charging systems, perform studies, and ensure regulatory compliance from design through commissioning.

The role requires an REE/PEE license and at least 2 years in electrical design, power distribution, or EV charging. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; ETAP is a plus. Strong documentation and client coordination skills are needed for site inspections and approvals.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Engineer or Professional Electrical Engineer eligibility.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical design, power distribution, renewable energy, or EV charging.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; ETAP or similar simulation software a plus.
• Familiar with PEC, utility requirements, and permitting.
• Knowledge of EV charger tech, OCPP, load management, and energy monitoring systems.
• Excellent technical documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to conduct site inspections and coordinate with clients, contractors and agencies.

Responsabilités

• Create AC/DC EV charging designs, SLDs, layouts, and cable sizing.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, short-circuit, voltage drop, grounding studies.
• Lead site assessments, feasibility studies, and prepare BOQs and cost estimates.
• Prepare drawings, specs, reports, and as-built plans.
• Ensure compliance with PEC, Fire Code, DOE, LGU, and utility requirements.
• Coordinate with electric utilities and regulatory bodies for approvals and energization.
• Oversee site implementation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and inspections.
• Evaluate EV tech, energy management systems, and solar PV/BESS integration.

About the role

This role involves designing and implementing AC/DC EV charging systems, performing comprehensive engineering studies, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements. You will lead technical assessments, manage stakeholder coordination with utilities and regulatory bodies, and oversee project implementation from design through commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Create AC/DC EV charging designs, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), layouts, and cable sizing
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, short-circuit, voltage drop, and grounding studies
• Lead technical site assessments, feasibility studies, and prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates
• Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, reports, and as-built plans
• Ensure full compliance with PEC, Fire Code, DOE, LGU, and utility requirements
• Manage communication with electric utilities and regulatory bodies for quick approvals and energization
• Oversee site implementation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and final quality inspections
• Evaluate new EV technologies, energy management systems, and solar PV/BESS integration options

About you

• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) or Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE)
• At least 2 years experience in electrical design, power distribution, renewable energy, or EV charging systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with ETAP or similar simulation software is a plus
• Strong familiarity with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), utility requirements, and permitting
• Familiar with EV charger technologies, OCPP, load management, and energy monitoring systems
• Excellent technical documentation, communication, and proactive problem-solving skills
• Willing to conduct site inspections and coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and agencies
