Job summary

Quanta Philippines is seeking a licensed attorney with 2–5 years of corporate or financial institution experience to join our legal team. You will draft and negotiate contracts, oversee compliance, manage disputes with external counsel, and advise on risk and governance.

The role requires LLB or JD and BAR eligibility; your work will involve research, documentation, and maintaining records, supporting board meetings, and handling disciplinary processes including NTE and NOD.

Qualifications

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (vendor agreements, client contracts, partnerships).
• Ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Handle litigation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations; liaison with external counsel.
• Identify potential legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of legal documents.
• Support board meetings, draft resolutions, and ensure governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Draft and issue Notice to Explain (NTE) to employees in cases of alleged violations or misconduct.
• Review employee responses to NTE and assess explanations.
• Prepare and issue Notice of Decision (NOD) based on management’s resolution with due process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of disciplinary proceedings.
• Qualifications: LLB/JD; BAR eligibility is a plus.

• Qualifications :

Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD);licensed attorney (BAR eligibility) is a plus.

Experience: Typically 2–5 years of relevant legal practice, preferably in corporate or financial institutions.
