Job summary

Light Rail Manila Corporation seeks a senior Corporate Governance & Compliance Counsel to lead governance initiatives and ensure alignment with shareholder interests. The role directs compliance with laws, manages relations with Grantors and government agencies, and supports dispute management.

The successful candidate is a licensed lawyer with strong corporate experience, HR & Labor Relations exposure, and a thorough understanding of civil, labor, and administrative law.

Qualifications

Job description

The position is responsible in leading the implementation of Company's Corporate Governance Goals and initiatives by directing employees, business processes, and systems needed to empower good governance from inside the corporation and ensuring that the management are in alignment with the shareholder interests and requirements. Primarily, the position will direct and manage compliance of Company with applicable laws and regulations, manage relations with the Grantors and other government agencies, manage the Company’s claims and KPI reporting, and assist the General Counsel in overseeing the Company’s dispute management process. The position will also direct and oversee the Company's labor relations programs, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Solid background and exposure to Human Resource & Labor Relations management, corporate civil (contract), labor & administrative laws & regulations, etc.
