About the Role

The Leasing Operations Division Lead - Projects sets the strategic direction for managing complex leasing projects and redevelopment initiatives across diverse property portfolios, including retail malls, office buildings, and residential developments.

This leadership role demands exceptional project management capabilities, cross-functional leadership, and deep expertise in multi-property leasing operations to drive high-impact projects that enhance property value and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute strategic roadmaps for complex leasing projects, property redevelopments, and portfolio enhancement initiatives across retail, office, and residential sectors.

• Project Management: Direct cross-functional teams through the lifecycle of high-impact leasing operations, ensuring alignment with organizational timelines, financial targets, and operational standards.

• Leasing Strategy & Optimization: Develop innovative lease structures, conduct retail market analysis, perform accurate revenue forecasting, and lead complex lease negotiations.

• Financial & Performance Oversight: Manage budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting; ensure all leasing projects optimize asset performance and deliver a strong return on investment.

• Stakeholder & Dispute Management: Serve as the primary liaison for internal executive leaders, external developers, and high-value tenants, leveraging strong negotiation and dispute resolution capabilities.

• Systems & Process Improvement: Utilize data-driven and risk-based methodologies to streamline leasing operations using systems like SAP or Oracle.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in commercial real estate leasing, including at least 5 years leading leasing operations management specifically within the retail industry.

• Core Expertise: Deep knowledge of lease strategies, retail market trends, financial forecasting, and multi-property portfolio management.

• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and the interconnection between operational activities and bottom-line business objectives.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and familiar with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, dispute resolution, and cross-functional leadership skills with a results-oriented, strategic mindset.
