Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization's Learning & Development (L&D) strategy aligned with business priorities, talent requirements, and organizational objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive training needs analyses through job evaluations, performance reviews, skill-gap assessments, and close collaboration with business leaders.
- Create, implement, and maintain a competency framework to guide recruitment, promotion, and career development decisions.
- Design and oversee impactful learning programs, including onboarding, knowledge transfer, leadership development, and soft skills training.
- Manage course setup, user experience, and reporting processes for all learning initiatives.
- Identify and source external training programs and providers to complement internal offerings.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with external training vendors (e.g., agencies, industry associations).
- Monitor the quality and effectiveness of outsourced training, leveraging feedback and performance data to inform future decisions.
- Develop and manage talent assessment tools to evaluate competencies, identify high‑potential employees, and address underperformance.
- Collaborate with business leaders to design career progression maps and structured development tracks for Finance SSC.
- Measure L&D program effectiveness using data‑driven methods (e.g., post‑training evaluations, performance metrics, competency progression).
- Prepare regular reports and insights for leadership on learning impact, participation rates, and talent development outcomes.
- Stay abreast of global L&D trends and introduce innovative learning solutions.
Leadership & Development
- Foster a service‑oriented and performance‑driven culture within Finance SSC in collaboration with operational finance roles.
- Assess Finance SSC resources against skills, workload, and availability, considering project‑specific requirements.
- Support future Finance transition activities to enable immediate capability enhancements and continuous soft skills improvement.
- Execute initiatives to strengthen the organization's SSC's brand image internally and externally, promoting services and enhancing employer branding for talent attraction.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- 5+ years of overall HR experience including 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development management.
- Experience from similar industry (preferred).
- Proven experience with finance L&D curriculum.
- Hands‑on experience in designing and delivering training programmes aimed at improving workflows and elevating service quality.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong planning, project management, and follow‑up capabilities.
- Customer‑focused, proactive, and adaptable to fast‑paced and dynamic environments.
- High sense of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
