Job summary

Arcadis, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to lead medium-sized projects within our Places sector. You will work with senior engineers, apply international design codes, and guide junior team members to deliver high-quality structural solutions.

The role requires 8–10 years of post-graduate experience in a design consultancy, a PE license, and strong communications in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and a professional license as Civil Engineer.
• 8–10 years post-graduate experience in design consultancy.
• Experience designing data centers.
• Familiar with US design codes (ACI/ASCE/AISC).
• Strong problem solving and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and design medium-sized projects with minimal supervision.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to junior staff.
• Perform structural analysis and detailing per code requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project delivery.
• Prepare design documentation and reports.
• Ensure adherence to scope, schedules and budgets.
