Job summary

Arcadis are seeking a Structural Design Engineer for our GEC in Makati, Philippines. You will contribute to large-scale metro projects, applying international design standards and leading a project team. The role emphasizes collaboration across regions and ongoing technical development.

You will work with a diverse, global team, delivering safe, efficient engineering solutions while supporting junior engineers and driving process improvements through automation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Master's degree is an advantage.
• Professional Civil Engineer license preferred.
• Chartered status or progressing towards chartership is a plus.
• Experience in design consultancy and metro projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out activities supporting development and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Provide a substantial technical role for a discipline on tasks within a project.
• Coordinate with Client, Region and other GECs to produce deliverables.
• Lead a project team and guide junior members.
• Develop knowledge of international design standards via training and certifications.
• Automate design processes and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Ensure correctness and quality of project deliverables.
