Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Civil Engineer for its Global Excellence Centre to support design and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes technical depth across design standards, software tools, and collaboration with global teams.

The candidate should have 4–6 years of relevant experience in a design consultancy, with strong English communication skills and a track record of delivering safe, efficient engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Civil Engineering is required.
• Masters degree is considered an advantage.
• Professional license is preferred.
• Working towards international charterships is an advantage.
• 4–6 years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Experience in design consultancy environments.
• Proficient with listed engineering software suites.
• Knowledge of international design standards (US/Canada/UK/EU/Australia).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of activities to support development and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Provide a substantial technical role for a single discipline on smaller tasks within a project.
• Manage stakeholders and ensure designs meet project standards and codes.
• Coordinate with Client, Region and other GECs to deliver engineering outputs.
• Lead a project team when assigned.
• Contribute to training and guidance for junior team members.
• Develop industry knowledge through internal training and certifications.
• Automate design processes and workflows.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of project deliverables.
