Job summary

SN Aboitiz Power Group seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead screening, feasibility and pre-construction activities for renewable energy and energy storage projects in the Philippines. You will oversee technical data collection, risk assessment, design criteria and conformance to SHESQ protocols, coordinating with contractors and consultants.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-year combined experience in engineering design, technical management, tendering and construction of renewable energy and energy storage system projects.
• Experience in renewable energy and energy storage system technologies and infrastructure requirements for development and construction.

Responsibilities

• Identify investment opportunities by technical scoping and risk assessment.
• Screen, pre-feasibility to pre-construction of RE and energy storage projects including data collection and validation.
• Develop technical design criteria and conformance to SHESQ protocols.
• Design and supervise site investigation programs.
• Draft contract terms and manage bidding/awarding.
• Supervise contractors and consultants.
• Oversee technical requirements across project value chain to ensure policy compliance.
• Support PM in evaluating technical status and addressing issues with stakeholders.
• Plan and execute periodic technical assessments of business processes for policy alignment.
• Monitor and report technical risk and opportunities.
• Review project status using KPIs and PROMAS or other tools.
• Prepare reports with remediation recommendations.
• Define clear technical scope, budget and timeline.
• Support due diligence of new projects focusing on technical issues.
• Ensure proper turnover to execution team after investment decision.
• Conduct quality control of consultants and evaluate final reports.
• Perform other duties as required by the Head of Project Development.
