Job summary

Coins, the leading crypto brand in the Philippines, seeks an experienced Product Designer Lead to shape design strategy for payment products. You will own the design vision, build a roadmap, define success metrics, and mentor a team of designers and UX researchers.

In this role you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, risk, and marketing to deliver compliant, scalable fintech experiences. Regularly use data and user research to guide decisions, run experiments, and advance a design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, CS or related field.
• 5+ years of product design or hybrid product design/PM experience.
• Proven experience owning a product roadmap end-to-end with metrics and post-launch measurement.
• Track record designing scalable payments, e-wallets, or fintech products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX strategy, UI execution, and measurable impact on metrics.
• Understanding of Philippine digital payment landscape and regulatory considerations.
• Experience in agile environments with backlog grooming and sprint planning.
• Proficiency in Figma/Adobe XD and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the design vision and product strategy for payment products.
• Build and prioritize a roadmap of design and product improvements using structured frameworks.
• Establish UX/UI design standards across the organization.
• Lead and mentor a team of product designers and UX researchers.
• Act as a de facto product manager for your area with clear specs and KPIs.
• Identify and champion new features based on research and user feedback.
• Define success metrics and report outcomes (activation, adoption, retention).
• Run experiments (A/B tests, usability benchmarks) with analytics tooling.
• Own backlog prioritization in collaboration with PMs and engineering.
• Drive end-to-end design from discovery to UI specifications and prototyping.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to improve flows.
• Create and maintain scalable design systems for consistency.
