Job summary

Maya in Metro Manila seeks a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to spearhead the ML engineering function for Marketing, Growth, and Personalization. You will lead, mentor, and elevate a team of ML engineers while collaborating with data science, product, and cross-functional partners.

You will design resilient, large-scale distributed ML systems, including agentic AI solutions and autonomous workflows, optimize compute and cloud spend, and own mesh-facing services delivering real-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a quantitative field.
• 6+ years building data pipelines and production ML systems.
• 3+ years leading technical initiatives or engineering teams.
• 3+ years of CI/CD, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native infra.
• Experience architecting and deploying LLM-based applications and agentic workflows.
• Domain experience in fintech, digital banking, or high-growth tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor ML engineers across teams and engage stakeholders.
• Architect and deploy agentic AI systems for real-time marketing and growth.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Scientists, and engineering partners.
