Job summary

Maya Bank is seeking a Data Science Lead to drive AI, ML, and customer intelligence strategy across the Maya ecosystem. You will lead a team of data scientists delivering production-grade analytics and AI solutions aimed at improving acquisition, engagement, personalization, and revenue growth.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Product, Growth, Engineering, and CRM to translate business objectives into scalable data-driven solutions, establish best practices, and mentor a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, CS, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 7+ years in Data Science/AI with production-grade solutions.
• 3+ years of people leadership.
• Experience with clustering, propensity, recommendation, classification, and predictive models.
• Experience partnering with product, marketing, growth, and engineering.
• Fintech or digital finance/consumer tech experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of AI, ML, and analytics solutions for customer growth.
• Translate business challenges into scalable data science roadmaps and outcomes.
• Design customer intelligence and marketing analytics initiatives.
• Establish model governance, validation, explainability, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering, Growth, CRM to operationalize models.
• Present insights and business impact to senior leadership.
• Mentor and develop the Data Science team.
