Job summary

Business Process Outsourcing International, Inc. seeks a Lead Mechanical Engineer to guide the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for data centers and Cable Landing Stations.

You will lead HVAC, cooling, and fire suppression efforts, ensuring energy efficiency, reliability, and compliance with client specifications and industry standards. Collaboration with internal teams and external consultants is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years consulting experience in electrical engineering for data centers or CLS projects.
• Proven experience designing HVAC, cooling, fire suppression for data centers.
• Strong knowledge of energy efficiency and industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for data centers and CLS, including HVAC and cooling.
• Ensure systems are energy-efficient, scalable, reliable, and compliant with specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with Data Center Design Manager, Data Center CSA Lead, Lead Electrical Engineer, and other teams for integration.
• Provide technical leadership to address design challenges and best practices.
• Oversee commissioning, testing, and operation optimization of mechanical systems.
• Escalate issues to the Data Center Design Manager and VP & Head of Data Center Planning and Development as needed.
• Support continuous improvement and sustainability practices throughout operation phases.
