Job summary

Business Process Outsourcing International, Inc. seeks an experienced Data Center specialist to lead the design, construction, and operation of mission-critical facilities. You will work on large-scale HVAC/plumbing systems and provide SME guidance to project teams on scope, budget, and schedule.

You will conduct field surveys, prepare technical drawings, perform detailed calculations, and support 24x7 Data Center operations while ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles and systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand equipment functionality.
• Proficient in using precise measuring instruments to inspect and test equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Effective communication to report site situations and guide technicians.
• Capable of performing physical tasks for maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment and respond to emergencies.
• A vocational diploma or relevant short course certificate in a technical field is often required.

Responsibilities

• Experience in mission critical facility design, construction, and implementation of Data Centers.
• Lead detailed design of large-scale HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Data Center/Mission HVAC/plumbing design.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and field personnel on scope, budget, and schedule.
• Conduct field surveys and prepare reports assessing existing facilities.
• Prepare and review technical drawings to meet standards and customer requirements.
• Perform detailed calculations and engineering studies as needed.
• Support and maintain 24x7 Data Center operations.
• Ensure adherence to data center security processes and safety measures.
