Job summary

Business Process Outsourcing International, Inc. seeks an experienced Data Center specialist to lead the design, construction, and operation of mission-critical facilities. You will work on large-scale HVAC/plumbing systems and provide SME guidance to project teams on scope, budget, and schedule.

You will conduct field surveys, prepare technical drawings, perform detailed calculations, and support 24x7 Data Center operations while ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.

Job description

Job Description:

• Experienced in mission critical facility design, construction, and implementation of Data Centers.
• Experience with mission critical power distribution, Electrical systems, Mechanical systems (HVAC) and data systems.
• Lead efforts to deliver detailed design of large-scale HVAC and plumbing systems while following all company, client and project design, may involve leading teams dedicated to these design deliverables.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Data Center/Mission HVAC/plumbing design.
• Work closely with engineering project teams and field personnel to complete and review projects on scope, budget and schedule. Perform project tasks and assignments within budgeted hours and deadlines. Incorporate schedules, budgets and project criteria into physical design and layouts.
• Conduct field surveys, drawings, and other data to assess conditions of existing facilities and develop summary reports.
• Prepare and /or review technical drawings to ensure that installations and designs conform to standards and customer requirements.
• Perform detailed calculations as needed by the project. Compiles data and creates engineering studies and reports.

• Knowledge of data center security processes and adhere to the measures they put in place.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical & electrical concepts and terms (UPS, PACU, HVAC, Chilled Water System, GENSET, LVSG, POWER PANEL).
• Good work ethics and a willingness to learn.
• Work with Network engineering and lead Data Center projects to ensure they are delivered to meet customers.
