Job summary

TechTime Trade Corp. in Manila is seeking an experienced Repair Technician Team Leader to oversee our laptop repair operations.

You will lead the Repair Technician Team, drive productivity, ensure quality, and act as a technical escalation point for complex cases. The role requires strong hands-on diagnostics across hardware and software, leadership, coaching, and the ability to manage workflows, prioritize repairs, and maintain safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electronics, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience as Laptop Repair Technician, Computer Technician, Electronics Technician.
• At least one year in a Team Leader or supervisory role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of laptop hardware diagnostics and repair techniques.
• Experience in component- and board-level repair and soldering.
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, mentoring, and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate the Repair Technician Team to achieve performance targets.
• Assign repair jobs based on technician skill level, workload, and priority.
• Monitor productivity, attendance, work quality, and overall performance.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support when necessary.
• Conduct performance evaluations and identify training opportunities.
• Foster a positive, organized, and high-performing team environment.
• Oversee daily repair workflows and ensure timely completion.
• Identify operational challenges and implement improvements.
• Ensure adherence to repair procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of laptop issues.
• Install and configure components and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Perform data backup, migration, and system restoration when required.
• Handle escalated repair cases and provide technical direction.
