Job description

We are seeking a Lead IT Adoption Manager to drive adoption and change management (ACM) strategies across multiple IT product initiatives and digital transformation efforts. You will ensure business readiness, minimize resistance, maximize technology adoption, and guide end-users through new systems, business processes, and job roles. Additionally, you will supervise, mentor, and lead a team of adoption managers and learning experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning: Design, execute, and maintain end-to-end ACM strategies aligned with the organization's change management framework. Develop detailed plans including Sponsor Roadmaps, Champion Engagement, Communications, Learning, Coaching, Resistance Management, and Adoption Monitoring Plans.
• Impact Analysis: Conduct change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, and user readiness evaluations across impacted business units.
• Execution & Collaboration: Work alongside IT Product Owners and business stakeholders to integrate change plans into broader project timelines. Oversee external vendor deliverables to ensure high-quality standards.
• Stakeholder & Change Agent Engagement: Build and mobilize networks of Change Agents, Sponsors, and Departmental Champions, providing coaching and support to help them fulfill their roles.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise adoption managers and learning specialists, assign product responsibilities, monitor performance, and lead regular team alignments.
• Training & Communications: Oversee instructional material design and lead briefing sessions, coaching, and targeted communications.
• Monitoring & Escalation: Measure adoption success, track progress, identify potential areas of resistance, and elevate risks with clear risk-mitigation plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of general professional experience, with at least 5 years specifically focused on IT adoption and change management.
• Technical & Domain Expertise: Proven track record leading organization-wide change efforts for IT projects. Familiarity with IT project management methodologies and tools. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps and tools.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, root-cause identification, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work independently while managing team dynamics.
• Certifications: Prosci or equivalent Change Management certification is preferred (or must be obtained within 12 months of engagement). A post-graduate degree is desirable.
