Job summary

Makro Philippines (CP Axtra AC Corporation) seeks a Section Manager – Fruits and Vegetables to oversee daily produce department operations, ensuring quality, availability, and profitability. You will lead the department team, uphold merchandising standards, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations while driving sales and operational targets.

The role requires leadership, strong customer service, and effective coaching to optimize performance in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Agriculture, Food Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in retail, supermarket, or produce operations.
• Experience handling fresh fruits and vegetables, inventory management, and merchandising is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail inventory or POS systems.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.
