Job summary

GCash, the Philippines' leading FinTech, is seeking a data engineering specialist to design and develop data pipelines that feed the data warehouse. You will ensure data quality, optimize pipelines, and align with the tribe's data ingestion demands.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in IT delivery, strong SQL and ETL skills, and hands-on experience with Big Data tools and cloud environments such as AWS Glue, Spark, Databricks, and Kafka.

Qualifications

• Graduate of IT-related courses such as BS Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 4–6 years of IT project delivery or data development in Data Warehousing/BI.
• Strong SQL and ETL development experience.
• Experience with Big Data tech and cloud environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines to ingest source data into the data warehouse.
• Support and optimize pipelines to meet downstream SLAs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver data ingestion work for the data warehouse.
• Ensure data quality and adherence to engineering standards across deployments.
