Job summary

GCash seeks a Data Architect with 6+ years of experience to lead data strategy, architecture, and data product governance in a fast-growing FinTech environment in the Philippines.

You will align data architecture with business strategy, document data products, and guide data management, security, and best practices across the organization. Proficiency in SQL and modern data tooling, plus multi-cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field.
• 6+ years as a data architect, data modeling and DB design (relational and big data).
• 5+ years OLAP/OLTP data warehouse implementations.
• Hands-on with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with data architecture patterns for big data and enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Align data strategy and roadmap with business strategy and evolve data architecture accordingly.
• Develop and maintain documentation of data and data products; guide on maximizing data usage.
• Be the main consultant for information value chain analysis and data governance across the organization.
• Align data architecture initiatives with data management and security practices; advocate data governance.
• Provide guidance on data modeling, data flow design, and end-to-end data technology landscape.
