Job summary

Gamigo Philippines Incorporated is seeking a Data Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our data infrastructure. You will build scalable pipelines, manage ETL, and ensure data quality to enable data-driven decisions.

You will collaborate with an international team across 30+ countries, work on cutting-edge GC artifacts like BigQuery, Airflow, and dbt, and have opportunities for growth in a dynamic environment. Dress casually and enjoy health insurance and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with GCP services including BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage.
• Experience with Apache Airflow for workflows.
• Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
• Familiarity with Kafka or other streaming platforms.
• Strong data warehousing knowledge and best practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and database designs.
• Ensure data quality and integrity with validation and monitoring.
• Optimize data processes and performance.
• Troubleshoot data issues and support stakeholders.
• Stay updated with emerging data engineering technologies and recommend improvements.
