Job summary

LGC-MCV is seeking a Data Engineer in Taguig (BGC) for a 3–6 month contractual engagement. You will develop data workflows, organize data, and support analytics through scalable solutions. Collaboration with multiple teams will be essential to meet data requirements and improve processes.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT/CS/Engineering and 3–4+ years of relevant experience, with strong Python and SQL skills, plus hands-on with Spark, Pandas, and data warehouse tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3–4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related role.
Strong programming skills in Python; experience with Java is an advantage.
Experience with data processing tools such as Pandas, Dplyr, or Apache Spark.
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development.
Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Background in big data technologies such as MongoDB, Spark, Hive, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar platforms.
Experience working with AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud-based data environments.
