About the job Lead Capacity Planning Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Being a member of Automation Capacity Team, in this function, we work with each Technology Capacity and Demand Assessment teams to build and modernize capacity reports. Your key responsibilities will be to debug and improve existing web dashboards, as well as design new web reports in ASP.NET, while integrating with multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle DB, and Snowflake. You will work with a broad, cross-functional global team to drive innovation and efficiency in our capacity management procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the development and maintenance of web-based dashboards and reports using ASP.NET, connecting to multiple data sources including SQL Server, Oracle DB, and Snowflake.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing dashboards, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with the Technology Capacity and Demand Management teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions that enhance capacity management and reporting processes.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and performance of data reporting and visualizations, supporting critical business decisions.
• Coordinate with global stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the automation and capacity management processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in ASP.NET development, with a focus on creating web applications, dashboards, and reports.
• Experience working with SQL Server, Oracle DB, and Snowflake, with expertise in database design and optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in web-based applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in a diverse, global environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as the following:
  • ASP.NET VB (webforms), Gridviews Familiarity with .NET Framework
  • VBA
  • SAS
  • HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
  • MS SQL Server Management can create complex TSQL scripts (nested joins), stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, tables, data modelling, indexes
  • Good Exposure on Git Repository, Bitbucket, JIRA
  • IIS Web Server Management
