Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Construction Project Engineer (BIM Specialist) in the Philippines to support space planning, facility layouts, and BIM modeling across multiple sites. You will maintain BIM models, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with APAC teams to drive accurate layouts for ongoing construction and expansion projects.

The role emphasizes clash detection, design coordination, and documentation control, requiring 5–10 years’ related experience and strong proficiency in BIM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, architecture, or industrial engineering
• 5–10 years of experience in BIM coordination, facility planning, space management, or construction engineering
• Experience supporting industrial or manufacturing projects
• Proficiency in BIM software and design tools (Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks)
• Strong knowledge of space planning, layouts, and coordination
• Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and design conflict resolution
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, utility infrastructure, and construction docs
• Proficient with MS Office and digital document management systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with APAC Facilities Specialist and project teams to support space planning and facility layouts
• Develop, maintain, and update BIM models and space databases for design accuracy
• Create and manage facility, infrastructure, and workspace layouts for projects
• Conduct clash detection and resolve design coordination issues
• Coordinate with facilities, engineering, operations, and project teams on layout alignment
• Provide BIM-based design reviews, visualization, and recommendations
• Maintain as-built drawings and digital records reflecting changes
• Generate reports, drawings, and space utilization analyses for management
• Ensure compliance with design standards and company guidelines
• Drive continuous improvement of BIM processes and layout management
