Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Solutions Architect for Latin America. You will be the trusted advisor to customers, guiding them on how GitLab’s DevSecOps platform can solve software delivery challenges and drive business outcomes.

Based in Mexico, you will work with regional sales and enterprise teams, reporting to a senior manager in the US. You will build deep relationships, shape technical strategy for key accounts, and become the go-to technical advocate for GitLab in the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical pre-sales or solution consulting.
• Background in modern software development and cloud environments.
• Ability to design technical solutions and run proofs of concept, workshops, and technical evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospects and customers across LATAM, onsite and remotely, to provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the pre‑sales process.
• Collaborate with regional sales directors and account executives to shape and execute account strategies that drive GitLab adoption.
• Own technical evaluations, including proof of value activities, tender and audit responses, and the design and delivery of technical workshops.
• Serve as the Directly Responsible Individual on Customer Success Plans, ensuring technical risks are identified, addressed, and aligned to customer business outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders so they become confident GitLab advocates within their organizations.
• Act as the customer advocate to internal teams by sharing feedback and insights with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
• Maintain and deepen your expertise in GitLab and related technologies through training, certifications, and the creation of reusable technical examples for customers and partners.
• Educate customers of all sizes on the value of the GitLab platform, modern software development practices, continuous integration and continuous deployment, and cloud technologies.
• Run value stream assessments for key accounts with support from senior Solutions Architects to uncover opportunities for improvement and expanded GitLab usage.
