Job summary

Datadog, Inc. is seeking a strategic Director to lead and scale the Technical Support Engineering organization across LATAM. You will manage a team of managers and support engineers, driving regional growth, hiring, onboarding, and cross-functional delivery of outcomes.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with Sales, CS, Engineering and Product in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Technical Support, Solutions Engineering, or a related technical customer-facing function.
• 5+ years of experience leading manager of managers in a multi-layered organization.
• Experience building or scaling teams from zero in new locations or emerging markets.
• Experience managing teams across multiple countries with cultural and operational differences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a multi-country Technical Support Engineering organization across LATAM.
• Own regional hiring targets and ensure onboarding and development of engineers.
• Provide strategic guidance to managers on regional projects and metrics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and resolve escalations.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product to drive initiatives.
