Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Single Carrier Landside Specialist (Spanish Speaker) in Pasig to manage end-to-end dispatch operations for container movements across multi-mode networks, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.

You will coordinate with customers, carriers, and terminals, monitor movements, resolve issues, and drive improvements while adhering to service commitments and governance. Fluent Spanish and English and 3–5 years in shipping or BPO are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Spanish and English proficiency required (speaking and writing).
• 3–5 years in Customer Service, BPO, or shipping industry for voice/non-voice roles; shipping landside experience preferred.
• Willingness to work onsite in Pasig City with a full night shift schedule.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and SAP BI applications.

Single Carrier Landside Specialist (Spanish Speaker)

This position is responsible for managing end-to-end dispatch operations, including shipment planning, carrier assignment, container movement monitoring, and ensuring timely delivery to customer locations. In addition to dispatch execution, the role oversees exception management activities such as vendor dispute resolution, charge approvals, and addressing operational issues that disrupt the standard process flow. The position also drives continuous improvement by identifying and implementing solutions to eliminate recurring disruptions and enhance overall process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end container dispatch operations across truck, rail, and barge networks, ensuring timely execution and service delivery.
• Manage daily interactions with customers, carriers, terminal operators, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and exceptions.
• Monitor shipment and container movements, proactively identifying risks and driving timely corrective actions.
• Ensure achievement of customer service commitments through effective planning, communication, and exception management.
• Deliver a customer-centric experience by addressing inquiries, managing expectations, and contributing to positive NPS outcomes.
• Maintain accurate operational records, system updates, and documentation to ensure visibility, compliance, and process integrity.
• Oversee accessorial costs, equipment utilization, container idling, and related approvals to drive operational efficiency.
• Foster strong stakeholder partnerships, support cross-functional team objectives, and contribute to continuous process and vendor performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Graduate
• Should be able to speak and write Spanish and English
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Customer Service, BPO, Shipping Industry for Voice/Non-voice. (Better if from shipping landside process)
• Must be willing to work onsite in Pasig City; Full night shift schedule
• Technical Skills: MS Office tools, SAP BI applications/tools, programs or systems colleague would be responsible for operating, any other assisting software.
