Job summary

Maersk seeks a Spanish-speaking Senior Specialist for Spanish Single Carrier Operations in Pasig City, Philippines. The role covers end-to-end dispatch, vendor management, and continuous improvement to minimize disruptions.

You will coordinate across truck, rail, and barge networks, communicating with customers and carriers in both Spanish and English, and support night shift operations. The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in shipping, a Finance/Accounting background, and is able to work onsite.

Qualifications

• Graduate, ideally Finance and Accounting.
• Spanish and English communication skills required.
• 6–8 years of experience in shipping; preferably landside.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for the team and backup to the team leader.
• Coordinate end-to-end dispatch across truck, rail, and barge networks.
• Interact with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Monitor shipments and take corrective actions.
• Ensure service commitments and maintain records for visibility.
• Manage accessorial costs and equipment utilization.
