Job summary

Don Tim Development Corporation (DTDC) is seeking an Acquisitions Assistant to support market expansion, analyze land opportunities, and manage due diligence for potential properties. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of experience in property acquisition or development.

You will collaborate with marketing and engineering teams and assist with documentation for property transfers, including title verifications and regulatory filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in property acquisition, real estate business development, land sourcing, or similar roles; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and market research tools.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills for interactions with executives, brokers, government agencies, and property owners.
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite and/or similar applications.

Responsibilities

• Market Expansion Support: Assist in shaping business plans and strategies to enter new geographic markets or expand existing market share.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and land market shifts to identify high-potential property acquisitions and other opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, engineering, and development teams to ensure acquisitions align with project designs and customer demand.
• Land Acquisition & Due Diligence: Assist in facilitating the acquisition process by conducting title verification, site inspections, and due diligence for potential properties.
• Technical Documentation: Work with the documentation specialist and assist in the documentation for property transfers, including processing Title Transfers, Tax Declarations, and regulatory filings.
