Job summary

NightOwl Consulting Philippines, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR/Labor Relations professional to review employee relations cases, oversee due process, and support offboarding activities.

You will prepare notices, maintain case files, monitor deadlines, and ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements across the organization. The role requires strong knowledge of Philippine labor law, experience with SEnA/DOLE/NLRC cases, and the ability to coordinate with external counsel.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Philippine labor law and due process.
• Experience with SEnA, DOLE or NLRC is preferred.
• Experience reviewing contracts, handbooks, policies and notices.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and business writing skills.
• Experience in a BPO or offshore organization is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review employee relations cases involving performance, attendance, misconduct, policy violations, and other disciplinary matters.
• Support HR in offboarding activities including performance-related terminations and layoffs.
• Review and assist in preparing NTEs, disciplinary notices, termination notices, and related documentation.
• Ensure documentation and due process requirements are followed before employment actions.
• Support labor-related cases and coordinate with external legal counsel as necessary.
• Prepare case summaries, chronologies, evidence, and supporting documents for labor proceedings.
• Track active cases, deadlines, required submissions, and outstanding documentation.
• Review employee handbooks, employment agreements, HR policies, acknowledgment forms, waivers, templates, and other documents.
• Identify compliance gaps and recommend revisions to policies and HR processes.
• Maintain organized case files and standardized HR/legal templates.
• Monitor Philippine labor regulations and advise HR leadership of changes.
