Responsibilities

• Assist in formulation and preparation of experimental animal feeds.
• Weigh and measure feed ingredients accurately according to research protocols.
• Prepare, label, and store feed samples for laboratory analysis and feeding trials.
• Assist in conducting feeding trials and monitor animal performance, including feed intake, weight gain, and feed conversion.
• Collect, organize, and record research data accurately.
• Perform basic laboratory analyses of feed ingredients and finished feed products.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, research materials, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Prepare technical reports, research documentation, and presentations.
• Assist in implementing quality control procedures and ensure compliance with laboratory safety and ethical standards.
• Coordinate with researchers, production personnel, and other team members to support ongoing R&D projects.

Job Description:

The Lab Production Helper is responsible for data gathering during animal and poultry experiments, including feed weighing, sample weighing, and monitoring experimental poultry throughout the duration of each trial. The role also involves encoding the data collected and submitting it to the Customer Research Specialists. Additionally, the Laboratory Helper is responsible for cleaning the facility during and after the completion of trials, including the removal and proper disposal of manure and other animal waste.
